Carpet that gets dirty again fast after cleaning usually comes down to residue left in the fiber. Releasit Encap-Clean DS2 is a low-moisture encapsulation detergent that penetrates embedded soil, holds it in suspension, and leaves no soil-attracting residue behind. This listing is the 4-gallon case.

Features

  • No soil-attracting residue. The CRYSTALON3 polymer resists soil — which means cleaned carpet stays cleaner longer and is easier to maintain until the next service.
  • CRYSTALON3 polymer. This oil-loving polymer surrounds soil particles and dries to a crystal that cannot attract other soil; the encapsulated residue is removed through normal routine vacuuming.
  • Coverage. Each 4-gallon case cleans about 39,600 square feet.
  • No separate rinse step. For heavier soil, make extra scrubbing passes without adding more solution.
  • Works across equipment and tasks. Cimex machines, orbital scrubbers, CRB machines, 175 RPM rotary scrubbers, and bonnet or pad systems — also usable as a traffic-lane pre-spray and for upholstery shampooing.

Encap-Clean DS2 has a 5.0-star average from over 200 customer reviews on Excellent-Supply.com.

Directions

Shake well before using. For shampoo or encapsulation cleaning, mix 4 oz of Encap-Clean DS2 per gallon of hot water and scrub thoroughly with overlapping passes using an appropriate scrubber, looking for a light whitening of thin foam (a heavy foam buildup is not desirable). It works best shower-fed through a Cimex or similar machine, or in spray applications such as bonnet/pad and CRB cleaning.

Traffic-lane pre-spray: Mix 6 oz per gallon and apply with a coarse-tip sprayer.
Bonnet or pad cleaning: Mix 4-6 oz per gallon, apply with a coarse-tip sprayer, and scrub with overlapping passes using a damp bonnet or pad.
Recurring spill treatment: Mix one part Encap-Clean DS2 with two parts water, apply a few squirts, and brush the solution through the fibers. Test for colorfastness before cleaning. Rinsing is not required; vacuum at the next scheduled interval to remove the encapsulated soil.

We cleaned over 20,000 sqft of delicate custome made wool carpet at the world equestrian hotel. Releasitds2 was submitted and approved and it did an outstanding job. We have used it for over 15 years with nothing but great results. Smell, ease of use and consistency are the key. We use it in day cares, offices, movie theaters large hotels, resorts and everything else that needs cleaned. Great product

Unusually don't use an endcap on a residential rug but these things kept coming back so I use this product on it and what amazing results it literally disappeared the stains and they haven't reappeared. Would definitely recommend for high traffic and commercial carpet cleaning as well as stubborn residential stains.

I do a lot of low moisture commercial carpet cleaning and have tried many products—this one stands out. It delivers consistent results, handles heavy traffic well, and doesn’t lead to resoiling. Customer service is excellent as well. I had an issue with an order and it was resolved quickly and professionally. That holds a lot of weight in my book.

Thank You! Im looking for something new and convenient to use for a carpet cleaner/encap but didn't want to commit to just one brand so i tried out the sample package and yesterday it came in and this morning i started went to work and wanted to try these out at one of my schedule for the day. After a few minutes of vacuuming i started using the spot cleaner along with Ds2 and let the product work in between the fibers, then i ran my brush and immediately saw the difference from other brands. These products are simple and easy and you dont have to work that hard to achieve great results, best of all it dries fairly quick! Thank you for coming up with these product and more power!
