Carpet that quickly turns gray again after cleaning creates extra work and makes routine maintenance harder. Most dry soil can be removed by vacuuming. The harder part is the oily, sticky soil that holds dry soil to the surface and creates that dull, gray appearance. Releasit Encap-Clean DS2 is made to counter that problem. This low-moisture encapsulation detergent penetrates embedded soil and holds it in suspension.

  • Encap-Clean DS2 leaves no soil-attracting residue in the carpet. The CRYSTALON3 polymer actually resists soil, so the carpet you clean today stays cleaner longer and is easier to maintain until the next service.
  • The CRYSTALON3 polymer surrounds oily soil. This oil-loving polymer surrounds soil particles in the carpet and dries to a crystal that cannot attract other soil. The encapsulated soil particles can then be removed through normal routine vacuuming.
  • One gallon cleans about 9,900 square feet. That covers a lot of office or hallway carpet from a single jug, so one gallon goes a long way on smaller routes.
  • There is no separate rinse step. For more heavily soiled sections, make additional scrubbing passes without applying more solution. That keeps high-production commercial carpet cleaning moving.
  • Encap-Clean DS2 works with the equipment you already run. Use it with Cimex machines, orbital scrubbers, CRB machines, 175 RPM rotary scrubbers, and bonnet or pad systems, so there is no new machine to buy before you start.
  • One concentrate covers several jobs on the truck. Encap-Clean DS2 also works for spot cleaning, upholstery shampooing, and recurring spill treatment.

Encap-Clean DS2 has a 5.0-star average from over 100 customer reviews on Excellent-Supply.com.

Shake well before using. For shampoo or encapsulation cleaning, mix 4 ounces of Encap-Clean DS2 per gallon of hot water. Scrub the carpet thoroughly, making overlapping passes with an appropriate scrubber. Look for a light whitening of thin foam on the surface. A heavy foam buildup is not desirable.

Encap-Clean DS2 works best when shower-fed through a Cimex or similar machine. It can also be used in spray applications such as bonnet/pad cleaning and CRB cleaning.

For heavily soiled traffic lanes, Encap-Clean DS2 can be used as a pre-spray. Mix 6 ounces per gallon of water and apply it with a coarse-tip sprayer. Encap-Punch can also be used according to its label.

For bonnet or pad cleaning, mix 4-6 ounces per gallon of water. Apply the solution with a coarse-tip sprayer. Scrub the carpet thoroughly, making overlapping passes with a damp, clean bonnet or pad.

For recurring spill treatment, mix one part Encap-Clean DS2 with two parts water in a spray bottle. Apply a few squirts and brush the spot, working the solution thoroughly through the carpet fibers. Always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before cleaning.

Rinsing is not required. Vacuum the carpet at the next scheduled vacuuming interval to remove the encapsulated soil particles.

Best carpet care cleaner on the market for virtually any carpet. After everything dries, simply vacuum up the residual. Takes out most stains with minimal effort and can do amazing things in terms of restoring the original carpet's beauty. I absolutely recommend it (especially for car carpet detailing).

I’ve been using this product for more than five years and it is consistently the best. We clean commercial carpet by low moisture and cancellation and this works wonders for even the dirtiest of restaurants and schools. Releasit DS2 is the only thing that we use and Excellentsupply.com gets it to us fast!

I heard of Encap-Clean DS2 in a YouTube video (Hawk Pro Detailing) and ordered a gallon for cleaning my cars interiors. It was shipped and delivered quickly. The cleaning process was much simpler and faster than I expected, and I'm very, very happy with the results. I've already passed a few ounces to a friend for his car.
