Carpet that quickly turns gray again after cleaning creates extra work and makes routine maintenance harder. Most dry soil can be removed by vacuuming. The harder part is the oily and sticky soil that holds dry soil to the surface and creates the dull, gray appearance.

Releasit Encap-Clean DS2 is made to counter that problem. This low-moisture encapsulation detergent penetrates embedded soil and holds it in suspension.

  • Cleans about 39,600 square feet: At the standard 4-ounce dilution, four gallons of concentrate are mixed with 128 gallons of water to make 132 total gallons of ready-to-use solution. At approximately 300 square feet per ready-to-use gallon, DS2 cleans about 39,600 square feet.
  • CRYSTALON3 handles oily soil: This oil-loving polymer surrounds soil particles in the carpet and dries to a crystal that cannot attract other soil. The encapsulated soil particles can then be removed through normal routine vacuuming.
  • There is no separate rinse step: For more heavily soiled sections, make additional scrubbing passes without applying more solution. This helps keep high-production commercial carpet cleaning moving.
  • It works with common commercial carpet-cleaning equipment: DS2 can be used with Cimex machines, orbital scrubbers, CRB machines, 175 RPM rotary scrubbers, and bonnet or pad systems. It can also be used for spot cleaning, upholstery shampooing, and recurring spill treatment.

Shake well before using. For shampoo or encapsulation cleaning, mix 4 ounces of Encap-Clean DS2 per gallon of hot water. Scrub the carpet thoroughly, making overlapping passes with an appropriate scrubber. Look for a light whitening of thin foam on the surface. A heavy foam buildup is not desirable.

DS2 works best when shower-fed through a Cimex or similar machine. It can also be used in spray applications such as bonnet/pad cleaning and CRB cleaning.

For heavily soiled traffic lanes, DS2 can be used as a pre-spray. Mix 6 ounces per gallon of water and apply it with a coarse-tip sprayer. Encap-Punch can also be used according to its label.

For bonnet or pad cleaning, mix 4-6 ounces per gallon of water. Apply the solution with a coarse-tip sprayer. Scrub the carpet thoroughly, making overlapping passes with a damp, clean bonnet or pad.

For recurring spill treatment, mix one part Encap-Clean DS2 with two parts water in a spray bottle. Apply a few squirts and brush the spot, working the solution thoroughly through the carpet fibers. Always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before cleaning.

Rinsing is not required. Vacuum the carpet at the next scheduled vacuuming interval to remove the encapsulated soil particles.

Encap-Clean DS2 has a concentrate pH of 8.5-9 and a fresh citrus scent. It is safe for colorfast wool and all synthetic carpet fibers.

DS2 gives commercial carpet cleaners high production and deep cleaning without leaving a sticky, soil-attracting residue behind. Because the dried crystal cannot attract other soil, the carpet stays cleaner longer and is easier to maintain.

Unusually don't use an endcap on a residential rug but these things kept coming back so I use this product on it and what amazing results it literally disappeared the stains and they haven't reappeared. Would definitely recommend for high traffic and commercial carpet cleaning as well as stubborn residential stains.

Thank You! Im looking for something new and convenient to use for a carpet cleaner/encap but didn't want to commit to just one brand so i tried out the sample package and yesterday it came in and this morning i started went to work and wanted to try these out at one of my schedule for the day. After a few minutes of vacuuming i started using the spot cleaner along with Ds2 and let the product work in between the fibers, then i ran my brush and immediately saw the difference from other brands. These products are simple and easy and you dont have to work that hard to achieve great results, best of all it dries fairly quick! Thank you for coming up with these product and more power!
