• Releasit Encap-1 DS (4 Gallon) Encapsulation Carpet Cleaning Products [Encap]

Some carpet cleaners prefer a shampoo-style encap that can be shower-fed through a Cimex for heavily soiled carpet. Releasit Encap-1 DS is the original Releasit formula, built for that kind of cleaning. It delivers deep cleaning and crystallizing encapsulation for high-production commercial carpet care.

• Cleans about 39,600 square feet: At the standard dilution of 4 ounces per gallon of water, the concentrate combines with 128 gallons of water to produce 132 total RTU gallons. At approximately 300 square feet per RTU gallon, that provides about 39,600 square feet of coverage.
• Excels as a shower-fed encapsulation shampoo: Encap-1 DS works especially well when shower-fed through a Cimex or similar machine, allowing the detergent and scrubbing action to work thoroughly through the carpet.
• Releases oily and sticky soil: The detergent penetrates the soil that holds dry dirt to carpet fibers while CRYSTALON3 surrounds soil particles and holds them in suspension.
• Leaves no sticky residue behind: CRYSTALON3 dries to a crystal that cannot attract other soil. The encapsulated soil particles can then be removed through normal routine vacuuming.
• Helps reduce wicking and recurring spills: The non-sticky crystallized residue makes encapsulated soil easier to recover during routine post-vacuuming.

Shake well before using. For shampoo or encapsulation cleaning, mix 4 ounces of Encap-1 DS per gallon of hot water. Scrub thoroughly with overlapping passes. A light whitening of thin foam indicates sufficient application; a heavy foam buildup is unnecessary.

On heavily soiled sections, make additional dry passes without applying more solution. Rinsing is not required. Vacuum the carpet during the next scheduled vacuuming interval to recover the encapsulated soil.

Encap-1 DS is recommended as a shampoo-style encapsulation cleaner and performs best when shower-fed through a Cimex or any shower-fed machine. It can also be used with orbital scrubbers, CRB machines, 175 RPM rotary scrubbers, and bonnet or pad methods.

Traffic-lane pre-spray: Encap-1 DS can be used as a pre-spray mixed at 6 ounces per gallon of water and applied with a coarse-tip sprayer. Encap-Punch can also be used as a pre-spray with Encap-1 according to its label directions.

Bonnet or pad cleaning: Mix 4-6 ounces per gallon of water. Apply with a coarse-tip sprayer and scrub thoroughly with overlapping passes using a damp, clean bonnet or pad.

Recurring spill treatment: Mix one part Encap-1 DS with two parts water in a spray bottle. Apply a few sprays to the spill and brush the solution thoroughly through the affected carpet fibers.

Encap-1 DS has a concentrate pH of 8.5-9, a fresh citrus scent, and is suitable for colorfast wool and all synthetic carpet fibers. Always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before cleaning.

For commercial cleaners who prefer a shower-fed shampoo method, Encap-1 DS delivers the original Releasit cleaning style: deep cleaning, no rinse step, and a crystallized residue that can be recovered through routine vacuuming.
