The Hook & Loop of the Backer-Block will eventually become damaged through usage and wear. This is the replacement Velcro Backer-Block (without the mounting plate)

Our Replacement Velcro Backer-Block is designed specifically to replace the ES Orbot Pad Driver backer-block. Over time, the hook and loop fasteners will become worn or damaged due to regular use. This replacement backer-block offers a simple solution to restore your ES Orbot Driver to optimal condition. Replacing the velcro backing is considered a normal consumable for the Orbot machines.

Please note:

The “Velcro-style harpoons” will detach from the driver over time when using bonnets (as shown in the image below). This is especially true for Superzorb bonnets or other cotton-blend bonnets. On the other hand, microfiber bonnets or FiberPlus pads are not quite as aggressive. You can still use a worn driver by placing the bonnet on the carpet and positioning the machine with the driver on top of the bonnet; however, the bonnet will become “unstuck” from a worn driver if you lift the head of the machine. Ultimately, a worn driver will require this driver block replacement to fully restore the driver’s functionality.
