Usage notes and cautions

• Remove bonnets gently — bonnet yarn can cling to Velcro. Aggressive removal may damage the Velcro backing or bonnet.  
• Inspect Velcro backer and pads regularly; replace worn backer‑blocks to maintain secure pad retention.  
  

Care and maintenance

• Check the hook & loop surface for embedded debris and clean as needed.
• Replace the Velcro backer‑block when retention weakens (replacement sold separately).  
• Store the driver dry and inspect mounting hardware periodically.

Please note:

The “Velcro-style harpoons” will detach from the driver over time when using bonnets (as shown in the image below). This is especially true for Superzorb bonnets or other cotton-blend bonnets. On the other hand, microfiber bonnets or FiberPlus pads are not quite as aggressive. You can still use a worn driver by placing the bonnet on the carpet and positioning the machine with the driver on top of the bonnet; however, the bonnet will become “unstuck” from a worn driver if you lift the head of the machine. Ultimately, a worn driver will require a driver block replacement to fully restore the driver’s functionality.
